This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love working collaboratively and these tables will make group work a part of our daily routine. Students will be able easily peer edit, participate in turn and talks, discuss critical thinking questions and so much more.
Collaboration fosters growth and a sense of community within the classroom.
Students who feel safe amongst their peers and with their teacher are more likely to take risks in their learning. Risk taking is an essential part of learning a new language and with these tables students will easily be able to take risks to further their learning.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
