My Students

I have high expectations for my students and they not only reach them but go above and beyond. They understand the necessity for an education and are self-advocates in their learning. They are constantly asking "What can I do next?", "What can I do to get ahead?", "How can I get a 100?"

My Project

In my current classroom I have just enough desks for students with none to spare. This makes it challenging to quickly pull students into a small group with myself when I notice students struggling with the classroom. With only 45 minutes in each period, and students I need to work with sometimes being located on complete opposite sides of the room, it is nearly impossible to rearrange the kids into teacher small groups without losing all work time. Instead you'll see myself and my co-teacher quickly circling the room like servers trying to meet the needs of every one of our 22 customers.
