My Students

I love to see their desire to learn and do their best. You learn a lot in every grade but first grade is very rewarding, especially in relation to reading. To go from letter names and sounds at the beginning of the year to becoming amazing readers. I’d love to make the learning as diverse as my students. The more hands on and interactive the better! My student already love using their iPads to learn and this will add another level to that learning.

My Project

These materials will be me engage students on all levels, and in a variety of ways. Students love learning interactively and (even in first grade) they love sharing what they do! This resource will be used in small group centers and as a way to further engage those who may learn best by hands on activities. Because there are so many activities, my hope is that the Osmo will enhance the learning students on every level of learning. I feel it is a good differentiation tool to add to my classroom. Students need many ways to learn, and in today’s world technology is a great way to achieve that!
