Help me give my students a Tripp Lite charging station for 16 Chromebooks so that they may access fully charged devices to experience web quests, online tutorials and conduct for projects when they need them.

My Students

My students are a mix of special needs children with specific learning disabilities in the areas of reading, writing and math in grades 6 through 8. Most of my students participate in my self-contained special education math classes (4). My other students participate my resource room class where they receive support for executive functioning skill deficits.

Despite their varied challenges, my kids enter my classroom on a daily basis with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.

My Project

The students in my school regularly utilize Chromebooks to access online tutorials, conduct science research for projects, write essays and participate in web quests. While I have Chromebooks in my class, I am unable to keep them fully charged in a storage device.

As a result, access to technology in my classroom has been problematic as my students are not able to consistently experience the same type of educational endeavors.

The Tripp Lite charging station will allow my students to access my Chromebooks when they need them. It will also allow my students to apply acquired math skills in real world web quests on a consistent basis.
