Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach life skills to high school students that struggle with applying learned skills to real work application. They are learning amazing job skills by running the cart. My students are enjoying our Coffee Cart where teachers look forward to our students delivering coffee and school-made muffins. Students are expanding their communication and social skills, money skills, running a business, taking orders, brewing the coffee, sorting the sugars, and delivering. Getting new supplies such as a condiment sorter will not only help with organization skills but also fine motor sorting skills. Getting a mini chalkboard students can write the type of muffins they made to sell. Donating to this project will help my students learn important daily living and job skills for the future. Please help us update our successful coffee cart.
