Our school is a Title I school trying to provide the always-changing resources needed to coordinate with the current educational standards, which also change often.
This group of students comes from a small, rural school that houses approximately five hundred students grades K through twelve.
Our elementary consists of grades K-6. Each day we strive to provide our students with the best education and support all their needs. Our unique school provides a great environment for these students to learn and grow each day.
My Project
My special needs classroom is a place for my students to learn practical skills they will need in the real world. We have just gotten the approval to have a coffee cart on Fridays.
These supplies will give my students important job skills for their future but more importantly, it will teach them social skills so they know how to interact with the public.
My students will learn to read a work schedule and be required to show up for their shift. They will be required to take orders and ring them up on the cash register. It will also give them the crucial money skills they will need. These items will be a huge help for my students' futures.
