Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are motivated to change the world by changing what they can. They are learning about how humans impact our environment and one issue that we have discovered that has a major impact is food waste. Especially since most of our students come from low income families this will ensure that our most racially diverse and socially disadvantaged students have what they need.

My students with disabilities want to create a small business to learn about money and treat teachers to coffee and tea.

We need a coffee maker, water coolers, and a hot water heater to make this possible so they can start to change the world for our own community. They are excited to make a difference for those in our community and to protect our environment.
