My students need Dot and Dash Robots to introduce them the wonderful world of robotics, and to gain coding and programming skills.

My Students

Do you love robots? Would like to learn how to program them? My students would love to learn how to code and program Dot and Dash robots.

My students are hard working, eager to learn and have big dreams.

We are a classroom of 20-second grade students located in rural Indiana. My students come from a wide range of economic backgrounds. We also have a wide range of academic abilities. But, they have one thing in common, their love for learning and exploring.

My Project

In today’s science world, it is important to have an understanding of the world around us. This project will introduce my students to the world of robots. It will teach them how a robot works, how to program a robot by using computer coding, and how a robot can help people. They will learn how to make a robot talk, move, turn, and even play the xylophone! This project will allow my second-grade students to become programmers by using the Wonder Workshop app on the iPad.

It is my job to challenge them, motivate them, and let them be the best that they can be!

Please, help me bring this project to life.
