My Project

My students learn to code with some terrific programs, but LEGO SPIKE Prime kits can bring that coding to life in front of them. Students can design and build robots to achieve a goal or complete a task, then code it to move. Through experiential learning, some trial and error, and lots of perseverance and experimentation, students build skills not only for engineering and design but also for life. These kits allow students to think of their own way to solve a problem and try it out. If it doesn't work, they try again, and again, and again. My school has just one of these kits now, and that's not enough for a class full of students to be hands-on. Two more will make it possible for small groups to work collaboratively and simultaneously.
