This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have worked hard to learn coding skills in Minecraft Education. They have made us so proud, working together, practicing in their free time, and challenging themselves to compete in a Minecraft Education competition. Upper grade students have been vigorously mentoring younger grade students in coding, providing this critical community service to their school community. We want to hold a showcase of their Minecraft worlds to show the rest of the school their skills and their committment to their fellow classmates. We want to host a celebration of them to reward them for their dedication.

Coding skills learned in Minecraft Education transfer to many other areas of academics and can set up students up for future careers.

We want to support our students as they work on these skills.
