My Students

My class this year is excited to get to be in our new building! This full of life group of first and second graders will be attending school in our brand new building, after spending the last two years in an interim site. They are so excited!

This curious group loves to interact with each other and their environment.

They love technology, but learn best when they can physically handle the materials. They are compassionate about their friends and love to laugh.

My Project

My students are a very curious, hands-on group, that loves to learn new things. They are very diverse in their home lives. Some have their own tablets and others learn how to use them in our classroom. Learning to use technology for more than just entertainment is an easily achievable goal. Osmo in our class will not only reinforce their math skills, but it will teach them basic coding, a skill many of them will want later in life. Learning to code is a skill that many children are learning at after school programs. I want to make it available to all my students.
