My Project

There are many quotes and so much research to support the need for technology and coding in the classroom

"If we want America to stay on the cutting edge, we need young Americans to master the tools and technology that will change the way we do just about everything." A quote from former President Barack Obama.

However, I couldn't agree more. This project will support the skills and open future opportunities and interests of my students. Interests these students need to move towards a future filled with possibilities.

Each of these robots will be used in a group setting for students to become engaged in engineering, coding languages, and problem-solving collaboration before they head to middle school.

Being a title one campus this group of students will be leaving elementary school after a trying few years. Due to the pandemic, virtual learning, and for many, our zip codes, opportunities were lost. We need to have ways to connect and be competitive because the technology didn't take a break. Please consider funding this project.
