My Project

Every minute of instruction matters—but right now, my students are missing critical opportunities to fully access their learning.

As a fifth-grade teacher, I work with students who need clear, engaging, and visible instruction to succeed—especially as they prepare for high-stakes testing and transition to middle school.

However, without a reliable way to display and share content in real time, students often struggle to see examples, follow along with modeled thinking, and stay fully engaged in lessons.

This project will provide an iPad, Apple TV, a 60-inch television, and a wall mount to create a seamless instructional display system that ensures every student can see, connect, and succeed—at the same time.

Right now, I am limited in how I can present information. Students seated farther away miss key details. Transitions between materials take valuable time away from instruction. Most importantly, students lose opportunities to actively engage with content in meaningful ways.

With this technology, everything changes immediately.

I will be able to:

-Instantly project lessons, texts, and student work

-Model reading and math strategies in real time

-Move around the classroom while teaching, providing targeted support

-Give students opportunities to share their thinking and learn from one another

The 60-inch screen will ensure that every child—no matter where they sit—has equal access to instruction. The iPad and Apple TV will allow for fluid, uninterrupted teaching that keeps students focused and engaged from start to finish.

For my students, many of whom rely heavily on visual learning and structured support, this is not just about technology—it is about access, equity, and opportunity.

Without these tools, learning gaps can widen. With them, I can provide the kind of interactive, responsive instruction my students need right now.
