This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Love to build and explore. Do you remember how creative and imaginative you were as a kid, tinkering and building things or maybe wishing you could?

I would love my students to have the opportunity to tinker and build.

The total minority enrollment of our school is 68%, and 59% of our students are economically disadvantaged.

For most of my students hands-on learning is how they learn best. I rely on grants and the kindness of strangers to acquire items like these for students' exploration and learning.

My Project

I have requested (3) 25 in one magnetism kits, an IR vision robot kit and some plant soil monitors. These kits will enable students to build, explore and learn about something they may never have the chance to do again--a combination of math science and technology together. Wow! How incredible would this be?

I believed I could do anything as a child.

To help my students explore all the possibilities and be as creative as they can, explore as much as they can and learn as much as they can, I need various projects, and these kits, I believe, will inspire many of my students for careers they never thought possible.
