My Project

This year we adopted a new curriculum that helps build students' background information to help close the knowledge gap and support their learning and lives in the future. The curriculum contains read-aloud, questioning, and vocabulary practice but would benefit from hands-on, exploratory supports.

These materials would be used to support our units about weather and seasons, farms, and kings and queens.

Students will use these materials to explore and play with during each knowledge unit.

After learning about kings and queens students would be able to use the castle blocks to design and build a castle of their own. They could use the play castle to reenact and role-play. The horse trailer, farm animals, lacing cards, and floor puzzle go along with our farm unit that teaches about different animals and crops and the products we get from farms.
