My Students

There are so many wonderful things to share about my students. They LOVE to learn! Each day they come to school, they cannot wait to see their friends and teacher. They are eager to get books in their hands to read and share with a partner. My students work so hard to make their families, teacher, and principal proud. At times, some have the weight of the world on their shoulders, but with a little extra TLC, they do great things. Their smiles melt my teacher's heart.

My Project

My students all want and need to learn the letters and sounds. These items, tracing cards, flash cards, white boards, etc., will be a tremendous help in achieving this goal.

Students can independently practice reading letters, practice the letter sounds, write letters and make words.

This in turn will allow me time to meet with two groups of students for 15 minutes each day. The Hot Dot Jr pens and activities will give students instant feedback. If the pen touches an incorrect answer, they can quickly find the correct answer. All of the items chosen are very motivating for my kindergarten students.
