Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My little learners are a very inquisitive group of students. These young scholars are discovering the world for the first time. Their curiosity and excitement is contagious and I love helping them learn. My students love listening to stories, moving to music, building puzzles and being creating artist. They need lots of encouragement and support to become lifelong learners.
Our schools lack the funds to provide the necessary supplies, equipment, technology, and parent workshops-that our young learners need to succeed in their education.
My students are happy, energetic, and ready to learn. They are learning to become independent learners and having the right resources can help motivate and engage them. There's no time to get sick and attendance can make the difference in their academic endeavor.
My Project
The flue season is upon us and this is the time when many kids miss lots of school, because germs are spread causing more children to get sick too. I want to start the new year helping prevent the spread of germs and helping kids be healthy. We need tissue paper, hand soap, paper towels, Clorox disinfectant spray and Clorox disinfecting wipes.
Kindergarten classrooms are always in need of a thorough cleaning and these Clorox Wipes work wonders and help stop the spread of germs.
My young learners can participate and learn to help prevent getting sick. Attendance is so important and keeping students healthy requires a lot of daily cleanup. We can teach students to keep germs away by washing their hands with soap, using a tissue to wipe their nose, and cleaning their work area. These supplies will provide and improve the environment in which my students work and learn. In addition having a few healthy treats help motivate and refuel these young thinkers. They will enjoy trying Welch's mixed fruit snacks, natural animal crackers and granola bars as a good healthy treat for brain power.
