My Project

Hello! I am asking for help in funding my class project for my students. This project is great for both my Biology and Earth Science classes. The main theme is Climate and the Environment. We all live on this planet and we affect it in so many ways. This project includes items like "Inquiries in Science: Understanding Climate Change Kit" This big resource allows students to see how greenhouse gas sources contribute to global climate change. It uses experimentation which is a key aspect of scientific learning all students need to become familiar with. The "Innovating Science Carbon Cycle in Soil Kit" is another resource that would help all students in learning about the carbon cycle in soil and how soil impacts global warming and the effects of a positive feedback loop. There are of course other resources in the project I am looking forward to for the students, even though they are "simple" like posters, having them up in the classroom as a visual reference when topics are being discussed is always a hit with students as so many of them are visual learners. This project is geared towards a specific subject matter but it can be tied in and used in a number of areas.
