This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Alan Gratz is an award winning New York Times Bestselling author whose latest title is about climate change.

This book brings real information about changes happening in the world and makes it relateable to teens by showing it through the lens of teenagers in a California wildfire, on the polar ice caps, and in a Miami flood.

My students have asked for works by this author again and again and I'd like this to be our final class novel of the year. We will use this book as one of two class novels as we enter our Model United Nations
