This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sublimation printer we are requesting will profoundly impact our students' learning experiences.

My students enjoyed learning about sublimation and the process.

Students learned how images can be taken, heated, and transferred onto various materials. Since my students had so much fun doing the first project, we decided to add to our sublimation skills by learning how to make water bottles and mugs. This process will be very similar to what the students have already learned. Some benefits of water bottle and mug sublimation are that they can be customized to the individual student, everyone needs a bottle to drink water throughout the day, and making students a water bottle can cut down on plastic bottle use, which helps the planet.
