My Students

Our students are scientists. Our students are mathematicians. Our students are readers and authors. Our students are explorers. My students make discoveries each and every day. Our students are budding athletes.

It is our mission to provide our students with a challenging and inquiry-based STEM curriculum to maximize individual potential and ensure that our students succeed in a global community.

Our goal is to expose students to as many learning opportunities that will prepare them for the future as possible, all while bringing to the forefront ideas and concepts that they may not have considered before.

Our school is a place filled with family. Not only do we serve and have families who entrust us with their children, we have our own family. This family includes our classroom families, our school community family, and our family of staff. We consider each day as an opportunity to learn something new and support our family members on their path to success.

My Project

Cliffhanger is our very loved classroom pet. This school year we embarked on an adventure to home a bearded dragon at school. We equipped him with everything he needs to grow healthy and safe. Through this process, students are learning how to care for something other than themselves, and how to care for something that cannot ask for things for itself. We are learning to give a voice to those that cannot speak.

However, he has grown more than we ever imagined, and needs a space to flourish!

This project will help him with a space that will better fit his needs, along with an outdoor space so he can enjoy the beautiful weather we have in Yuma, AZ.
