This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is about care—showing students warmth, dignity, and concern for their basic needs. Just like hunger or safety, a clean environment is essential to student well-being. At our school, many classrooms and shared spaces lack enough cleaning supplies to properly care for our building. Especially during flu season, it is hard to maintain a clean learning environment with out the proper supplies. These funds will provide the necessary supplies so students can learn in spaces that feel safe, respected, and cared for. When students see that their environment is clean and valued, they feel valued too. Additionally, students lack access to healthy snacks, so your donation helps meet two fundamental needs and supports the whole school community.
