As we learned about Earth Day, the students learned that we need to take care of our Environment where we live, whether it is in the classroom or outside in the world. Students will be able to read about the environment through books, write about the environment through poetry, clean the environment with wipes, make soaps using products in the environment, and plant seeds to grow the environment.
Everything in our Environment is important and protecting it, cleaning it, writing about it, and reusing things in the Environment are what makes it meaningful to us!!
What I hope is that learning and protecting the Environment through different ways will make it mean something to my students and help them to remember that keeping the Environment clean and protected is important for us all.
