This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My classroom is filled with a wonderful group of amazing students with a range of ability. My classroom is full of a variety of special needs. We work hard to accept differences as gifts. We work to learn how one another learns. We are a low socioeconomic neighborhood school.

Our class is full of brilliant learners and kind hearts.

We work hard at building our basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics once our basic needs are met. We enjoy using technology to improve those skills and build our confidence in learning.

Our class supports one another in the learning process. We celebrate our achievements and provide help when we are struggling.

My Project

These air purifiers will be placed at opposite corners of the classrooms. They max out at 528 cubic feet. Having two purifiers will allow for better air purification through out the room.

Each day our students return to our classes and are at-risk.

We are sanitizing surfaces multiple times a day, but what are we doing about the air. Our students are in our rooms all day. We are eating breakfast and lunch in our rooms as well. It is essential for the safety of my students that all efforts are made to keep them healthy, so they can focus on learning.
