Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a community that suffers from poverty and they have been affected by many different traumas. Some traumas have left them with nothing. Their joy in coming to school and showing their spirit and pride is huge, and sometimes school is the only place where they can be themselves and feel safe.

By getting items on our list, like the trash grabbers and trash cans, our school student mentors and leadership students, will be able to help our custodial staff keep the campus clean and safe for students and staff.

The other cleaning materials will be able to help clean and disinfect popular areas of the school.

My students take pride in their school and being able to keep it clean and safe is their mission.
