This question can be heard many times throughout the year in my classroom when completing activities and projects.
My students are very enthusiastic about learning through hands-on projects. They are always excited about being able to build or create things on their own.
Our school has a total of 300 students in grades Pre-K through 12 in one building. The school is in a small, rural community of around 1,000 people. Because of the community's small size, there is minimal opportunity for social interaction and the exchange of ideas and concepts learned in school. My classroom provides an outlet for ideas to flow between students through the use of collaborative projects.
My Project
Most of our classes are project-based classes so that means we have tons of materials out and messes all over the room. To make sure we are ready when the bell rings to change classes we have alarms set to ring 10 minutes before class is over on our Echo Dot. This gives up time to put tools away and sweep up our messes
We have found one problem with this, we can't hear the alarm when the vac system and machines are running.
If we were to get these Bluetooth speakers could attach them to our Echo Dot place them around the room and then be able to hear the alarm when it rings. We would also be able to put all of the loose tools on the pegboard and sweep everything up nicely if this project is fully funded.
