Clean Socks and Undies Today Help to Keep Sickness Away!

Help me give my students socks and underwear for "accidents" that occur during the school day. Many of our kids walk to school and their socks get wet due to the weather. Wet feet = sick kids!

My Students

Here at our school, students walk into their classrooms every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They have smiles that will light up your life!

Our motto is to come to school---On Time and Ready to Shine!!!

Many of our students participate in the weekly CT Food Bank backpack food program. Irving School also runs a Farmer's Market for our families once a month sponsored by the CT Food Bank. Over 70% of our students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch.

Despite so many hardships they have endured in their short lives, our students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My job as their school nurse, is to try to keep them healthy and in school, ready to learn, as much as possible.

My Project

Students have "accidents" all the time! Would you want to sit in wet socks because it was raining when you walked to school? Would you want to sit in soiled underwear because you didn't make it to the restroom in time or sat down on something?

Knowing they won't have to wear wet socks or no socks on their feet or soiled underwear for the duration of the school day gives students a better opportunity to focus on what's most important- their education.

Our students deserve to make the most out of their day while they are here at school.

The school nurse's office is in desperate need of socks and underwear for our Irving students. Please consider donating today. It is greatly appreciated.
