Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is very special; we are a high-performing, Title I, Renaissance school. Our school population is about 88% Hispanic, 7% Caucasian, about 3% African American, and about 2% Asian. Most of our students are English language learners. Our high performance is really due to how hard our students work. Their great efforts score enormous gains for our school.

In addition to our hard-working students, we truly have great caring families which allow our school culture to be one of a kind.

Our parents and students value education as much as our teachers do. Together with our families, we make our school a wonderful place for students to learn and teachers to teach!

My Project

We try to keep our classroom as germ free as possible. Students wipe their desks with Disinfecting Wipes a couple times per week. Parents have donated hand sanitizer and we use it daily especially before lunch. Unfortunately, our resources are dwindling as we approach the second half of the year!

Please help my students obtain resources to continue to learning in a clean environment.

We are in need of band aids, disinfecting wipes, alcohol cleaning solution, and antiseptic wipes for minor scrapes and falls. Our class thanks you, in advance, for considering to donate to our "Clean, Mean, Learning Machine" project.
