Help me give my students the confidence to learn by providing access to essential products through a school Hygiene Closet. Every child deserves to feel clean, cared for, and ready to succeed, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

My Project

We believe every child deserves to come to school feeling confident, cared for, and ready to learn. While our students arrive each day eager to succeed, many face challenges outside the classroom that can make learning more difficult. For some families, purchasing basic hygiene essentials means making impossible choices between personal care items and other necessities.

Our goal is to create a Hygiene Closet that provides students with access to everyday necessities in a safe, respectful, and confidential environment.

This closet will be stocked with items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, deodorant, brushes, combs, and other personal care essentials. School staff will be able to discreetly provide these items whenever a student is in need, ensuring every child feels supported without embarrassment.

When students have access to basic hygiene products, they gain much more than clean clothes or fresh toothpaste. They gain confidence. They are more comfortable participating in class, interacting with peers, attending school consistently, and focusing on learning instead of worrying about needs that many of us take for granted. A small act of kindness can have a lasting impact on a child's self-esteem and overall well-being.

The Hygiene Closet will serve students throughout the school year, helping us respond quickly when needs arise. Whether a child forgot a toothbrush, needs deodorant before a school event, or requires hygiene supplies to take home for the weekend, this resource will allow us to provide immediate support with dignity and compassion.
