This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are such a fun group full of energy! Not only do my students come from varying ethnic backgrounds, but also from different parts of the world! They enjoy being read to, doing math, technology, and just learning. They have been real troopers dealing with the ongoing pandemic and adjusting to face-to-face learning.

My students have faced many challenges this past year and are excited to learn and be at school.

I want to provide them with a positive and safe school experience to improve their mental health by making sure they have what they need to make this school year successful.

My Project

My students need hand sanitizer refills to go with our brand new hand sanitizer dispenser. It is important that my students stay protected during these uncertain times and having hand sanitizer easily accessible is key in staying healthy and safe. Our class is also in need of a voice amplifier to help students understand me and for me to understand them as we try to have classroom discourse through face masks.

Having hand sanitizer easily accessible for my students will help promote healthy habits and positive mental health, as we fight becoming sick and we prevent having to quarantine.
