This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a second-year Pre-K teacher and my students are truly brilliant. Starting your very first year of school in a pandemic can be very hard. Being a three to five-year-old and having to do virtual/hybrid learning is exceptionally difficult, but my babies have done such an amazing job! Many of my students come from low-income households, and they each have their struggles, but they still come to school with a smile and are ready to learn.

My Project

Being in a Pre-k classroom, my babies are touching everything, so this hand soap will help me make sure that their hands are germ free after recess, workstations etc. Their hands will be clean after touching the tables, centers, pencils, markers, chairs, books, door handles and everything else to minimize the risk of germs.

The books and summer buckets will be put in their end of year goodie bags!

They are going to love receiving a small gift at the end of the school year! My students have been working extremely hard this first semester and I know they are going to do the same the second semester. Since they have been great Pre-k scholars and are going to continue being exemplar students, I would love to give them something special after such a hard working school year.
