Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are exuberant learners. They love to come to school and participate in academic activities. The parents are equally supportive. They are extremely invested in their children's education. The parents in my community seem to thoroughly understand that if their children are to RISE UP out of their impoverished situations, they must get an education. I am extremely motivated to do all that I can possibly do to ensure that my students are equipped with the best skills possible to compete with anyone in this world.

My Project

It is important that students enter an environment that is not only filled with a motivated teacher and learning materials, there must also be a sense of cleanliness. It is difficult to keep a room clean when excited students are moving around all day. However, I must try.

I am asking for supplies that will help my students stay healthy and my room to stay clean.

The Febreze AIR Effects Air Freshener will be used to spray the room to help create a pleasant odor. The Clorox disinfecting wipes will be used to wipe down desks and materials. The hand sanitizer and Kleenex wipes will be used to help with personal cleanliness, as needed.
