My Students
My scholars from Philadelphia are talented, courageous, and intellectual learners. Philadelphia is a beautiful place to live with colorful opportunities to learn, and our school offers many of those opportunities. No matter what the scholars face outside of the school doors, we allow all bright-eyed scholars to walk through the door everyday, expecting them to soar as high as possible.
My scholars are true born eagles that love to soar when faced with difficulty.
Like true eagles they are resilient and fight hard for what they believe. From simply answering questions in class to learning about their culture in specialty classes, the scholars in my class are symbols of greatness.
My Project
The supplies that I am requesting are extremely important to the cleanliness of the classroom. In other words, hygiene and sanitation is a big part of the first-grade culture but more importantly now than ever due to the spread of COVID-19. The wipes donated will be in a filing cabinet and used to clean surfaces, materials, and other items that the students tough throughout the day. The students will be able to use the wipes to clean off their desks after lunch so that the classroom stays clean. I will be able to use the wipes to clean off math manipulatives, literacy centers, and generally disinfect the classroom at the end of the day! The masks will be used for my students when they don’t have one or when they need to replace the one that they have. Oftentimes in the classroom, their mask may fall, it may get dirty, or it will pop. Therefore, having extra will protect our students and save time because they will no longer have to ask others for extra.
The donations to this project will help improve my student's minds by creating a clean space for them to focus and learn in.
By continuing to clean the classroom, my students will begin to pick up clean habits, learn to protect others around them, and have a year that is not stopped due to sickness. Our class has thankfully not been shut down but other classes have. Therefore, these donations will continue our good luck and prevent my students as well as myself from getting sick. All donations are appreciated, thank you.
