Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Oh the places my scholars will go! Oh the places my scholars will go! My scholars face challenges like coming to a new country, learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. My learners are not defined by their circumstances but by the love that flows through their hearts and the eagerness that embodies their every action whether it's learning about letters or exploring our school garden. My scholars are off to great places! Everyday is their day! Their mountain of learning is waiting! My scholars are off to their learning way!
My scholars won't lag behind, because they have the learning speed.
They'll pass the whole gang and they'll soon take the academic lead. Wherever they go, they'll be the best of the best.

In my classroom, my learners are introduced to Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss and to a world they've never even imagined. I want to guide my scholars to excel in school and in life.
My scholars are on their way up! My scholars will be seeing great sights! My scholars will join the high fliers who soar to academic heights.
My Project
My students need a new carpet where they can sit during the morning meeting, meet during circle time and learn throughout the day. Our classroom carpet is also used during rest time. I would really like for my students to be able to have a new carpet that is soft, welcoming and educational at the same time. This carpet features colors and shapes that I will incorporate during lessons. The laptops in our classroom will give us a large amount of online resources. Unfortunately, we do not have enough computers in our classroom for each student to spend an adequate amount of time using these resources.
At our school, we share the computer lab with almost 600 students.
With these new laptops, more students will be able to access online programs that are engaging and effective. Students will be able to enhance their reading and math skills via programs such as Epic, Istation, Code.org, Frogstreet and many more. With your help, the learning gains and possibilities for my students will be endless!
The technology accessories like wireless mice and headphones will let my students focus in the classroom while their friends are engaged in other learning activities, like small groups and centers.
