This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Daily hygiene is essential for student learning. If students are not distracted by their cleanliness, they can focus on math facts, reading, and science. Some of my students struggle to acquire the basic needs of cleanliness. I would like to provide all my 4th, 5th, and 6th graders with a hygiene kit.
During this time in their lives, their bodies are changing swiftly which can cause them to need items such as soap and deodorant.
In some households, other items are a priority over things such as deodorant and combs. I hope you can help to provide my students with some basic necessities.
