My Students

My students are vibrant sweet learners of various abilities. They range from Pre-K to 5th grade. They all present with speech and language delays/disabilities hence, why they receive speech therapy in school. Through the pandemic these students have difficulty with social interaction and communication. I am participating in a Recovery Program this school year to help my students make up for lost time due to lack of in person school and time with their peers.

My Project

By laminating therapy materials it makes them very easy to clean between sessions. Students use the materials and then I am able to wipe them off with Lysol or Clorox wipes when we are finished. It also saves me time and I don't have to make multiple copies of papers to give to each student. Laminated sheets also work well with dry erase markers and the kids love drawing on them. My students would be so happy to have these resources available to them. The cardstock is also very durable.
