Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students spend about 6 hours a day in their classroom and it is a very active space. In that time, our classroom can get quite dirty. My students all take part in making sure the classroom is swept, organized, and disinfected.

When students help keep their classroom clean, they are creating a greater sense of community and responsibility within our space.

These cleaning supplies will help our class wipe down their desks daily, sweep up any trash, and keep our floors clean. It's so important that all students feel responsible and a part of keeping our room clean. When they invest their effort and energy, students develop important life skills and learn the importance of cleanliness. This daily activity also expands their understanding of germs and how to stop them from spreading.
