Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I want my students to have the support and resources they need and deserve. They are very eager, energetic, fun preschoolers who want nothing more than to succeed in the classroom and build the foundation they need to be successful in the school years to come.

I love to see how excited and open my students are to learning new things each day in the classroom.

I want to give my students every opportunity in my classroom so they can enjoy all that preschool has to offer. My students are creative, smart, and eager to learn. I have the opportunity to teach 20 wonderful preschool students who come from Spanish-speaking homes.

My students attend a low-income school in Chicago. About 90% of the students are from low-income households. As their teacher, I am dedicated to creating an environment where they feel safe, happy, and valued.

My Project

My classroom is in need of Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, and air fresheners. Working with preschoolers is wonderful but it does come with a lot of germs. Having this supply of Clorox wipes, Lysol spray, and air fresheners, will keep our classroom germ-free and smelling great.

My students deserve a clean and germ-free classroom.

I am hoping the use of cleaning wipes and disinfecting spray will help reduce the chance of spreading germs this school year. I want to keep our classroom germ-free, all year long and my students in the classroom and not at homesick.
