Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Name the one thing that teachers need the most it will probably come down to paper and pencils. A very close second are reliable pencil sharpeners. A lesson can go smoothly or be disrupted by the sound of students needing to find a pencil, asking other students to borrow a pencil, or trying to sharpen a pencil with barely working pencil sharpener.

These pencils and pencils sharpeners will give my students the piece of mind knowing that everything they need to be successful is already at school.

I also want to teach my students responsibility for cleaning up their own messes. Whether its small pieces of paper cut from a project, or pencil shavings from their personal pencil sharpeners, we know that students can be messy. That mess can cover their desks or the floor.

The broom and dustpan set, and the small handheld vacuum will allow them to clean up their mess quickly and effectively without disrupting others or waiting on the Janitor to come later in the day.
