I teach students in grades 6th – 8th grade in a public school. Currently our resources are limited and or outdated.
My students dream for the stars.
Yet, aren't readily given the supplies to push them to their potentials and make their dreams come true. They work hard but are lacking the basic skills required of them on standardized tests. If given the resources my students will use them as tools to do their best and improve their understanding.
They need consistent, current, engaging and common core learning materials.
My Project
As you are aware a middle schoolers hygiene is different day to day. With a clean scent and room the students will be able to get their creative minds turning.
I plan on using the construction paper and glue for projects.
The projects will help the students analyze their readings. The large construction paper will be used for projects and our monthly writing folders. The folders will contain their graphic organizers, rough drafts and final copies. They will then be able to take their folders home and share their growth with their families. The dry erase markers will be used for all students to actively get involved in answering questions without the fear of everyone knowing their answers. Thank you in advance.
