This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student deserves to feel clean, confident, and cared for—especially on their very first day of high school. This project will provide hygiene essentials to our rising ninth graders during our Open House this August, helping them start the school year with dignity and the tools they need to feel their best.

We are requesting hygiene items such as deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergent, and hand sanitizer.

These basic supplies go a long way in helping students feel prepared, cared for, and ready to learn.

Many of our families face economic challenges, and we want our Open House to be more than just a tour—it should be a warm welcome. By offering free hygiene kits, we’re removing one more barrier to a strong start and reinforcing that our school community supports every student’s success from day one.

With your support, we'll assemble hygiene kits to distribute to every student who attends our Rising 9th Grade Open House. These kits will not only meet physical needs but also show students they are seen, valued, and supported.
