Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an ambitious bunch. We are located in South Texas and our district is Title I. We live in a small community. My students are limited to the experiences, which sometimes makes it difficult to connect ideas, but they are always enthusiastic about learning new things.

My Project

This project is for some evaportative humidifiers to help keep our classroom air moist and virus-free. We are doing everything we can to keep students safe and in school. This project would help us tremendously. This pandemic isn't over, but we cannot let it hinder our learning outcomes. I want to make my classroom a safe environment for everyone. I want my parents to feel confident that I am doing everything possible to keep their child safe. The filters are to be able to change out and refresh the air.
