Clean Air for Students!

Help me give my students a HEPA Air Purifier which would give my classroom another mitigation strategy against COVID-19.

My Students

The second graders in our school are fantastic! They come to school ready to learn every day. The students are excited to be taught new things and express a desire to acquire that new learning. Our students are between 6 and 8 years old. Our community is comprised of tight family members where many children are involved in extra curricular activities. We have a strong link between families and our school community, which helps support the students' learning and the teachers.

My Project

With the recent spike in cases across the country, and the cold weather preventing us from working outdoors, the teachers are looking to add as many safety strategies as possible for our students. The air filter chosen works for our classroom since it is considered a "large room capacity" HEPA air filter. We crack the windows in our room (even on cold days), use social distancing and proper hand washing, but a HEPA filter would help us have cleaner air in our classroom while we work! Help keep us safe!
