Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My classroom has a chemical storage room located in the rear. Although the ventilation system is useful, I am in a classroom located in the middle of the second floor and I do not have any windows. I also have two well ventilated fume hoods that helps to release harmful vapors. Many of my students complain of headaches or allergy flare ups which may be attributed to the vapors of different chemicals. I would like to purchase 3 air purifiers for my classroom. The purifiers helps to remove foul air from the environment. It also circulates air quietly and has a hepa filter which will help to reduce the dust from the constant movement in the classroom. The air purifier will be a source of clear air for my students that I can get from opening a window. The air purifier will also increase the amount of pure oxygen in the air.
