Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at the tip of Texas in a Title 1 school, where 97% of our students are economically disadvantaged. Most of my students are English Language Learners since we live in a border city with Mexico. Each one of my students is a special individual coming from a different background. My students are always eager to learn through play! Our class becomes a family that encourages and supports each other on a daily basis!
My Project
I am asking for an air purifier for our classroom. Having one will have many benefits to my students.
With the flu season coming up I can not help but think of my students health.
An air purifier can help reduce health issues caused by pollutants in the air. It will also improve the air quality and neutralize odors. This new air purifier will also benefit my students who suffer from allergies tremendously. As their teacher it is my responsibility to make my students feel they are in a safe environment and this device will definitely provide peace of mind and added comfort to our classroom.
