I serve an exceptional group of students who are always eager to learn something new and challenge themselves. In our art room, we have created consistency and comfort with the materials we use for every project, such as Sharpies, markers and colored pencils. While these are great materials that my students love, I believe we are ready for a new challenge in the art room.
This school year, I would like to add some new project ideas to our classes with the use of air dry clay; a brand new material to my students that we have not used before.
I know my students will be so excited to use something new to create art, especially something that is so hands-on and fun. I think this new material and new challenge will excite and engage my students in the art learning process for many lessons to come!
