My students are in fourth grade. They are inquisitive, enthusiastic, creative, and eager learners. We create a classroom that revolves around having a growth mindset, so students are encouraged to have strong habits of mind and positive self talk in addition to showing perseverance in pursuit of their academic, athletic, and behavioral goals. They enjoy having access to an array of tools and flexible seating to meet their different learning needs. It is a joy to spend time teaching them as well as learning and growing with them.
My Project
Imagine working on a project that involves adding pictures to a book you are creating. You go to print it out because you want to share it with your family and friends, but you only have a black and white printer, so none of the pictures will come out in color. My students will be engaging in projects that involve printing pictures, and I would simply love to have a color printer so that we can see their work in color. One of their biggest projects is their CA history book, where students have a to print pictures on some of the pages in their books. It would be great to be able to print in color! We also have some learning material that would ideally be printed in color.
