The quote, "I call my students my kids because in our year together they aren't just kids on my class list, they become a part of my heart" could not be more true. I have experienced a wide variety of students in my seven years of being in the classroom. I have had students who were always eager to learn and would go above and beyond without being asked. I have also had those students who need some extra love and motivation to achieve success in and out of the classroom. The students in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. All of "my kids" and their experiences have helped me to become the teacher that I am today. I am so thankful for each and every one of them. They will always be part of my heart.
My Project
Wobble chairs, stability balls, pillows, and other seating options are something that I have always wanted to implement in my classroom. Having these materials will allow my students to be able to choose their seating to what best meets their individual needs.
Classroom transformations are something that will enhance student engagement in my classroom.
This will allow me to transform my classroom into "Glow Games" to make a unique learning experience for my students. The Jenga games and buzzers will also help enhance our classroom experience. Not only will the items on my list benefit my students this school year but also future students.
