Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for additional ukuleles to add to our class set for my 3rd - 5th grade generals music classes. Having a full set of instruments will ensure every student has their own ukulele, allowing them to engage with music in a consistent and deeply personal way. I believe these instruments will solidify their foundational music skills and further ignite a lifelong passion for music-making.
My goal is to provide all my students with a comprehensive instrumental music experience.
This complete set of ukuleles will enable them to further their music education while learning invaluable skills and values such as reasoning, patience, discipline, self-worth, and community. I firmly believe that consistent access to instrumental music at a young age provides my students with a vital venue for growth, both as musicians and as engaged community members, throughout their education and beyond. With your help, every student will adore getting to use and learn with their very own ukulele!
