My students are thoughtful, creative, and love hands-on learning! They enter the classroom with their best foot forward and are eager to learn. Many come from low-income families, are English Language Learners and some have special needs. It does not matter in this room because we are all a team. My students are amazing at working on projects together and helping each other out. One of the best learning tools that they have is each other! They realize that they need to be responsible for their actions and are caretakers of their environment.
"What you put into it is what you get out of it" is a saying that is used in our classroom.
The students help each other take their learning experiences and self-awareness to a whole new level. They put all that they have into their thoughtful, creative, and hands-on learning. They even run their own groups and guide each other. I am very proud of each and every one of my students!
My Project
These tools will help my students learning environment both inside and outside of the classroom. The cushions will allow the students to not be on top of each other but still allow them to move about the classroom instead of sitting on one spot all of the time. Our pencil sharpener broke so it is time for a new one. The USB charging station will allow me to charge the student's electronics in an orderly manner. The paper cutter and the desk organizer will help me to be organized while providing materials for the students both inside and outside of the classroom.
